Red Sofa by Eileen Gray - Archilab

Designed in 1919 for fashion designer Suzanne Talbot's Parisian flat, this two-seater sofa represents a turning point in Eileen Gray's career. The side elements in MDF are equipped with small wheels and showcase a black polyester lacquer. Prized, sterilized goose down is featured in the padding of the seat, backrest, and for the plush cushions serving as armrests. Standing onto small feet, the sofa's wooden frame is covered with polyurethane rubber and lined with polyester fiber. This piece is available with leather or bright red fabric upholstery (shown).
