This exquisite knife is a saber, traditionally used by the French army under Napoleon to cut a champagne bottle to celebrate a victory. The sword is used to pop the cork by cutting the edge of the neck with a clean cut and for this, a long, dull blade is needed. A unique piece of home decor, this object will make a statement in any home, thanks also to the metal hand guard and the olive wood handle (that can also be in wenge or padauk).
