This whimsical sculpture depicts a delicate flower blooming from a stone-shaped base. Two unopened buds are attached to iron stems so they can be removed or replaced, while the fixed, red blossom can also slightly change positions. Made from engobed, stone-colored red clay with a camouflage-black glaze. The flowers and buds are made from raku-fired fireclay with a metallic finish.
