Crafted through the lost-wax casting technique before being gilded with precious gold, this bronze statuette will capture the eye thanks to its graceful and elegant silhouette. The subject, borrowed from a prestigious Carrara sculpture made by an unknown French artist during the artistic period of Art Nouveau, portrays a female, oriental dancer in splits ("scoscio" in Italian) with her arms seductively outstretched above her head and a thin drape softly enhancing her nude body.
