The epitome of aesthetic grace, this bronze statuette, crafted using the lost-wax casting method, depicts the seductive profile of an oriental dancer performing the splits ("scoscio" in Italian) pose. The original artwork from which this piece is copied belonged to a private collection and was handcrafted of white Carrara marble during the Art Nouveau by an unknown French artist. The female dancer's profile is delicately enhanced by thin clothes celebrating the purest essence of femininity.
