This unique object is a functional piece which can be used to display and store various objects, while at the same time being highly decorative. The polyurethane under-structure is first given a stucco finish, which is what gives the piece its alluring texture. Then its surface is gilded with silver leaf burnished with bitumen wax. The final step involves coating the piece with transparent epoxy resin sealing the exterior.
