Stromboli Vase by Ugo La Pietra - Galleria Fatto ad Arte

Part of of Ugo La Pietra's Vasi Mediterranei Collection, this vase is named after Stromboli, one of the eight Aeolian Islands off the coast of Sicily, that is the also site of one of the three active volcanoes in Italy. Handcrafted of glossy white ceramic by Florentine artist Sandro Da Boit, this unique structure is inspired by the forms of Minoan pottery and features a scallop-edged cup on a funnel-shaped stand with a circular base. Two stylized figurines are hand painted in blue on the front of this remarkable piece that can be used as a centerpiece or vase to enrich any decor.
