Tenore Set of 6 Dinner Plates

$190

DESCRIPTION

Evocative of the charm and lively ambiance of the village of Vietri overlooking the Amalfi coast, this set of ceramic plates is part of the O' Curniciello collection, which hints at the small horn-shaped amulet popular in southern of Italy. This iconic decoration graces the surface of these plates, crafted using a complex production process. The clay is first worked on a lathe and then fired at 980-990° Celsius. Each piece is then dipped in white enamel and hand decorated. The vibrating effect of the colors is obtained thanks to a second firing. Each piece is a unique objet d'art.
