Terre Savana Sculpture

Nature and art come together in a unique sculpture by ROU Materiaal where a section of salvaged elm wood reveals its inner secrets and raw, primitive beauty finding a new life in a modern and contemporary home. Through a combination of techniques that enhance natural veins or imperfections with others that give a more contemporary texture, the surface is treated with clear epoxy resin and painted by hand with acrylic colors to obtain a breathtaking texture reminiscent of rocks eroded by the sun, sands, and water.
