Le Morandine by Sonia Pedrazzini

Testa Vase #1

Testa Vase #1 - Le Morandine by Sonia Pedrazzini

This vase's iconic form is inspired by one of the most characteristic motifs used by painter Giorgio Morandi during his brief metaphysical period (1918-1920): a mannequin's head. In this case, it is split into two unequal, pared-down halves, featuring a flower that looks almost surreal in its naturalness. Each item is hand-painted with an opaque finish and lacquered interior.
