Vienna Straw Chair with Armrests by Marcel Breuer

Vienna Straw Chair with Armrests by Marcel Breuer - Archilab

This sophisticated modern chair was designed in 1928. Ebanist Thonet's 19th-century models inspired the choice of Viennese straw for the 45cm-high seat and backrest, both featuring black-lacquered beech frames. Beechwood is also used to cover the armrests (70 cm high) that are slightly sloping downward. The cantilever tubular structure in chromed steel is a clear modernist element. The wooden elements are also available in a natural finish, please ask the Concierge for this option.
