Wabi-Sabi Decal Cup

A striking combination of patterns and colors, this cup is characteristic of Lucia Cavalli's works, which explore classical forms and vessels and the dialogue between Western and Eastern influences. The body, masterfully shaped using “terraglia bianca” and finished with crystalline glaze, is adorned with a black floral decal of Japanese rice paper. Over time the surface will show delicate cracks, a feature typical of the Lodi ceramic tradition, that must be regarded as a valuable trait rather than imperfections.
