Wine Storage in Elm and Durmast Oak Wood

Wine Storage in Elm and Durmast Oak Wood - Matteo Astolfi for Craftyform

The peculiar element of this wine storage piece is that it displays the bottles in a unique way creating a contemporary object that will be useful and striking at the same time. This wine storage was made by hand using thin sheets of elm and durmast oak woods that are cut by laser through the entire width of the pieces. This technique creates an exclusive charred-like effect on the edges. Several coats of natural varnish add softness and durability to the piece, while also enhancing the look of the natural veins of each sheet of wood.
