A superb objet d'art, this wooden chest was crafted according to traditional methods to reproduce old-fashioned blanket chests. Its structure, with tall backrest and enclosing armrests, is crafted in solid wood and is equipped with a flap that opens the seat op for storage. The finish of the wood is in beige and antique dust pink with an elaborate "trompe l'oeil" decoration that was applied by hand.
