Objects for living made by artists

Sandro Lopez makes authentic objects for distinctive living spaces. The objects embody a sculptural presence and derive from an artistic interpretation of furniture typologies. The duo of the art director Sara
Khamisi and the artist/designer Sandro Lopez joined to create their independent furniture brand in Milan.
Influenced by their artistic backgrounds, the creators aim to offer objects for a lifestyle enriched by art, beauty and authentic experiences.
One’s living space is like a self-portrait in progress, it is an expression of one’s creativity as well as being the space where behavior and identity are shaped through settings and experiences. They envision a living space characterized by authentic objects, refined details and artistic sensitivity.
Sandro Lopez’s products take shape through stories. These stories are journeys through which every design acquires its own unique character. An example of this is the case of the “Mistake” trays that were born from an accident where the two halves of a circular shape were mismatched together. Another example is the
story of the “Abito” vases, a name that in Italian means both “dress” and the verb “inhabit”, a choice of name that suggests how the vase was envisioned as both the place where the flower lives as well as the
dress that decorates it.
