Ceramiche Ceccarelli

Ceramist - Toscana, Italy

The traditional Tuscan passion for ceramics goes back for generations in the Ceccarelli family. This genuine passion emerges through the raw material shaping it into expertly-modeled and prestigious ceramics. The Ceccarelli ceramists like to say that the result is the witness of their efforts. Indeed, the typical irregularities distinctive of manual labour, together with the complexity of the finishes, obtained in 10 different manufacturing steps, are at the core of their distinctive style.

Where craftsmanship meets innovation: we create unique pieces that honor materials, time, and their place of origin.

Founded in 1960 in Mercatale, near Florence, the company was established by the Ceccarelli brothers and continues today under the guidance of their grandsons, Mirko and Lorenzo, who combine tradition and innovation. At the core of their work lies a simple philosophy: to respect material and time. Each creation takes shape through slow and careful processes—from modeling to freehand decoration, up to firing—which may require days or even weeks.

The atelier stands out for its entirely artisanal approach: every piece is unique, with no serial production, and carries the value of imperfection as a mark of authenticity. Earth, water, air, and fire are not merely elements, but the pillars of a body of knowledge passed down through generations.

Beyond craftsmanship, the Ceccarelli also position themselves as designers and consultants, collaborating with architects and interior designers in search of solutions that go beyond the object, offering identity and character to each project. In this way, every creation expresses a deep connection between art, culture, and territory, embodying a living tradition that continues to evolve while remaining rooted in its origins.
