Furniture Maker - Liguria, Italy

Born near Portofino, Adriano Garbarino graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Florence in 1968, after training as a sculptor. A passionate traveler and art collector, he established his eponymous brand in the late ‘70s in Monaco (Monte Carlo), producing high-end furniture distinguished by an unconventional and eclectic style. His collections include pieces of timeless elegance inspired by the four elements of nature: earth, fire, wind, and air. Design, colors, and noble materials coexist harmoniously in Garbarino’s unique pieces handcrafted exclusively in Italy.

We are alchemists: we do not create, we transmute…

Garbarino is a company born from the inspiration and passion of Adriano Garbarino, an interior designer with more than 40 years of international experience. The brand is distinguished by an approach that combines art and design, strongly influenced by Garbarino's artistic training, particularly his admiration for Renaissance art and his love of travel. These elements have helped shape a corporate vision that values the discovery of new cultures and lesser-known traditions, making research and experimentation the foundation of every creation.
The Italian cultural and artisanal heritage is central to Garbarino's identity. The brand embodies the value of “handmade” with a production process that combines traditional carpentry and cabinetmaking techniques with the use of advanced technologies. This approach results in unique pieces that do not follow passing fads, but aim to be timeless, with obsessive attention to quality and detail. The materials used, including fine woods such as Canaletto walnut, ebony and oak, are combined with luxury finishes such as marble, lacquer, gold and leather, resulting in creations of extreme refinement.
Garbarino also stands out for its ability to create tailor-made projects, where each client can customize products according to his or her taste, choosing specific details and exclusive materials. An example of this tailor-made philosophy is represented by one of its designs available on Artemest, where the client's individuality becomes an integral part of the creative process.
In addition, the company shows a strong social commitment, collaborating with artisans from different cultures and traditions, thus promoting the enhancement of decorative language through experience and shared research.
