Villa La Madonna: Paradise in the Valley

This exquisite boutique hotel is owned by the sisters Marie and Annica Eklund that opened it driven by the desire to offer a fantastic experience for all visitors.

Villa La Madonna features eighteen rooms, all decorated in boho-chic style with a blend of contemporary design and vintage elements. All the rooms have a terrace or a balcony, with stunning views over the vineyards, the garden or the Bormida Valley. Floors are clad with rugs in a color scheme inspired by the earth. The eye for detail and the refined taste of the owners can be seen as a common thread in everything, from the beautifully decorated common areas to the hotel’s restaurant and outdoor pool area in natural stone.

During their stay, guests will have the chance to taste the flavors of Piemonte in the surrounding restaurants but also at home, in Villa La Madonna’s own restaurant that offers exceptional dishes. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner concocted from fastidiously selected produce from the local market and from the estate’s kitchen garden. The menu changes every evening and during the summer, dinner is served under the stars on the evocative terrace. Villa La Madonna also has its own wine cellar, built in the 1600s here famous and less known wines are stored for the guests to explore and taste.

When the leaves are shifting in red and yellow and the famous Piemontese fog creates almost a movie-like scenery, it’s time to experience the traditional truffle hunt. Together with our truffle hunters and their well-trained dogs, you’ll get to come along on a typical Alba white truffle hunt, the world’s finest truffle.
