This superb relief panel is made of earthenware and straw and is decorated with matte clay and black pigments. Recalling the 1903 painting "Echo and Narcissus" by John William Waterhouse, this sculpture revisits the mythological theme through the two panels: in black Narcissus laying down to die, and in red the nymph Echo mourning while she covers his body with her hair (represented by the straw). A stunning decorative piece that will add a sophisticated touch to a living room or a library.
