This superb decorative mosaic reproduces the design of a fresco found in the Convento dei Predicatori di San Nicolò in Treviso. The various glass tiles that make up the elegant and dynamic design come from the historic Fornace Storica Orsoni in Venice. Cherry-red, brilliant green, and off-white come together in the colorful waves to enliven a modern or eclectic interior. The piece is supported by a wooden base and framed by oxidized iron with a transparent matte finish. Sizes and colors can be customized upon request, please ask the Concierge for details.

Discovering the Artisan
Giberto Arrivabene
Veneto, Italy | Glassmith
Giberto Arrivabene was raised by strong female figures in Palazzo Papadopoli, Venice, surrounded by frescoes of Giambattista Tiepolo and other artists. The context in which he grew up had a great impact on his unique aesthetic sense. Love for glass and craftsmanship is at the heart of his work. Giberto creates each piece starting first with a watercolor sketch and then handing it to expert glass blowers carvers from the glass capital Murano. These true artists are entrusted with the difficult work of engraving designs of any kind.Discover more
