The collection bears the name of the famous Weimar art school, which promoted an innovative educational method to overcome the rift between art and craftsmanship and to integrate creativity and industry, in a vision of unity and harmony between the different artistic activities. These concepts, combined with the absolutely modern and still current influence of the Bauhaus and its revolutionary scope, were reinterpreted and designed by Giuseppe Oliva.
