Halabala Illusion Lounge Chair

Halabala H269 art deco armchair designed in 1931 by Jindrich Halabala, features solid beechwood armrests bent to become sinuously part of the base. It was manufactured during the '30s and carefully re-upholstered by Atelier Caruso's master craftsmen in Italy. Restoration as the original manufacturing: jute webbing and metal springs with horsehair and cotton wadding, wick finish on wood, and cover in stunning hardwearing home fabric characterized by a geometric pattern.
