Effimero Barocco transforms spaces with evocative graphics inspired by Roman Baroque, creating unique scenic atmospheres that combine visionary past and contemporary design.

Effimero Barocco was born in 2020 from an idea of architects Cecilia Anselmi and Carlo Pianosi, with the initial support of Fabio Gasparri, to breathe new life into interior spaces through evocative graphics inspired by the visionary iconography of Roman Baroque. The brand's creations reinterpret fragments of 17th-century Rome, with particular reference to masters such as Bernini and Borromini, to create unique patterns that dialogue with contemporary design. Each piece transports fragments of an unforgettable artistic season into interiors, transforming walls, surfaces and furnishings into extraordinary narrative media.
Effimero Barocco's production is based on a close collaboration with Torri Lana 1885, a historic textile manufacturer in Gandino, Bergamo. This partnership makes it possible to produce textile products of the highest quality, such as tapestries and runners, using the traditional Jacquard technique embellished with a linen frisé weave. The production process, performed entirely in Italy, enhances natural and sustainable materials, ensuring durability and elegance. The fabric, with milk-white warp and a wide range of available colors, represents a perfect fusion of ancient craftsmanship and modern design.
The “Borromini” tapestry, depicting the famous dome of San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane, a masterpiece of Roman Baroque architecture, is one of the most representative examples. This iconic image, reproduced on fabric, lends a unique scenic touch to interiors, transforming environments into visual and tactile experiences.
Through its creations, Effimero Barocco promotes a rediscovery of the decorative and dreamlike, with a sartorial approach and tailored solutions capable of redefining interior spaces with originality and sophistication.
