Il Pezzo Mancante

Founded in 2010 by Cosimo Terzani and Barbara Bertocci, Il Pezzo Mancante ("The Missing Piece” in English) is a celebration of their passion for quality raw materials and their beloved homeland, Tuscany. It’s a world made of authenticity and vision in which you can discover an extraordinary rich artisan culture, warm creativity and “familiar feel”.
In their atelier in Florence, Italy, they create exquisite pieces of furniture and lighting by using solid wood, brass casting, hand-blown crystal, and marble, seamlessly blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technologies. Each creation is meticulously designed by Barbara and Cosimo and brought to life together with a dedicated team united by the passion for quality and beauty.
Every piece is distinguished by a unique identity. Known as the 'Missing Piece' (or 'Pezzo Mancante' in Italian), this small brass cylinder is embedded in each item. It holds a serial number that certifies the authenticity and uniqueness of the piece, serving as a mark of the dedication to quality and originality.
The name 'Il Pezzo Mancante' (or 'The Missing Piece’) symbolizes the ambition and continuous pursuit of new horizons, as we're always in search of what is missing!
