Otto e Mezzo is the sustainable brand of Marmi Azzolini, an Apulian company that has been a decades-long leader in the marble and stone sectors. Distinguished by a design language that distills luxury and sustainability in equal measure, their collections are handcrafted using precious marbles sourced from oft disused quarries, raw treasures cut and finished into pieces that will elevate any table. The ideal measurement set by the brand is 8.5 cm - hence its name - that will transform any marble scrap to reveal its hidden luxury.
Otto e Mezzo celebrates the natural elegance of marble and stone. Unique design, tactile emotion, and conscious sustainability turn every piece into a refined, surprising experience

Otto e Mezzo was born from the encounter between Italian artisanal tradition and contemporary aesthetic research, shaping a fully sustainable design project.
The brand’s journey begins with a simple yet powerful belief: even a forgotten block of marble, left in a corner, can find new life—starting from just eight and a half centimeters.
Each piece tells a story of precious materials, meticulous craftsmanship, and an uncompromising attention to detail. Marble becomes the protagonist of functional and elegant objects, created with the utmost respect for resources and a conscious reduction of production waste.
Every year, the brand pauses to reflect and to revalue new “offcuts,” transforming discarded fragments into meaningful design.
The latest collection is inspired by the concept of “Brilliant Corners,” a name freely drawn from the iconic London venue and Thelonious Monk’s celebrated jazz album. The common thread running through all creations lies in surfaces marked by time, natural imperfections, and jazz-like tones that emerge organically from corners and edges.
The collection began with sculptural bookends and evolved into striking, textural vases—breathtaking in their presence, rare, and unexpectedly bold.
Otto e Mezzo embodies a refined dialogue between Italy’s historic craftsmanship and the demands of modern design, reinterpreting classic materials through essential, sophisticated forms.
