Boasting a rich blend of Italian, English, and Austrian roots, Barberini & Gunnell is an architecture and interior design brand founded by architects Francesco Barberini and Nina A. Gunnell. Creating limited edition series, the brand’s innovative and artistic philosophy sees objects as a work of art and works closely with collectors and exhibition curators. Craftsmanship merges with novel technologies in pieces fashioned of stainless steel, brass, bronze, precious wood essences, marbles, and crystals. It has collaborated with Cartier Dior, Louis Vuitton, Sotheby’s, and others.

Piccoli Smalti

Giovanna Ferrero Ventimiglia, a trained architect with a background in painting, began experimenting with the cloisonné technique four years ago. Since then, she’s dedicated herself to crafting small slabs tenderly named "piccoli smalti", or small enamels. These precious little tiles - fashioned of silver, bronze, or brass - stand out for their distinctive abstract designs and dazzling hues emerging from a material with a rich history. Ventimiglia followed in her grandfather's footsteps in choosing a path dedicated to art and collaboration with Florentine artisans.

Jonathan Bocca

Jonathan Bocca is a sculptural designer from Lucca, Tuscany. He completed his studies in Interior and Furniture Design at IED in Florence, where he had the opportunity to work at the Fabrica Research Center in Treviso. After experimenting with new materials for his sculptures, he decided to change the way he conceived his designs. Working exclusively with recycled paper sourced from industrial waste that is processed into a resistant compound, he fashions pieces inspired by dreams, transforming reality into fantastical creatures.

Elena Barenghi

Born in Switzerland and based between New York and Noto, Sicily, Elena Barenghi is a painter, photographer, poet, and interior designer. Her career gained momentum in Rome, before attending the Istituto Spinelli Restoration School in Florence. She established herself as an interior designer in Brussels, where she opened both the EM72 concept store and the Ruedarwin17 Bed & Breakfast. Attending the Parsons School of Design in NYC paved the way for her “The Golden Rule” solo exhibition at the Amos Eno Gallery. Her house in Noto - Casadieci - has been featured in the Casafacile and Annabelle magazines.

Alice Del Ferraro discovered her passion for ceramics in 2017 during a stimulating apprenticeship lasting several years. Through a hands-on learning process, she honed her drawing, modeling, and decorating skills, discovering her calling. She founded her workshop soon after completing her intensive studies, serving as a creative space for experimenting with various clays, techniques, and textures to refine her artistic language. Her work fuses sculptural and functional elements, using mainly stoneware clay and traditional hand-building methods.

Sergio Fiorentino

Sergio Fiorentino was born in 1973 in Catania, where studied art and antique restoration at the Abadir Academy of Fine Arts in Catania; in 2012 founded his studio in Noto where he lives and works. In his artworks, faces and bodies of water and stone rise and disappear. A contemporary classicism that sometimes flakes off. Divers, saints, twins, and portraits remain motionless wrapped in ultramarine blue. A beauty revealed but protected by schools of tuna and garfish, leaves and plants, scratches, drips, and abrasions.
