




This plaster sculpture depicts the Greek Antinous, a favorite of Emperor Hadrian, who deified him after the youth's untimely, mysterious death. This work is made entirely by hand by craftsman at the Romanelli Gallery in Florence. It is based off an item in the Romanelli family's historical collection, which has been gathered over six generations.
