Italian craftsmanship that does not die but grows stronger

The forge and hammer are always the tools that shape each of our creations, tools that give life to unique and special pieces.
The furniture we offer is based on the design of the historic Italian landscape architect Pietro Porcinai, born in Fiesole in the early 1990s, a classic and elegant design that distinguishes and enhances Italian craftsmanship.
A history of a method that has been handed down for years and that they energetically intend not to let die, a product that is not designed to last as long as possible, theydo not care about savings and attention to detail, they make unique products that are designed to accompany you in your daily life, until one day you
will not think of replacing it, for a renovation, for simply boredom and the need for a change, it will not be the one to abandon you because of its poor quality with which it was built.

DMG Fiesole was founded in the 1960s by Mario and Ferdinando Modi in a small workshop located in the town of Fiesole, a small village of Etruscan origin in the hills near Florence. For years the business remained in the hands of the family itself, untilin January 1982, when Mr. and Mrs. Modi decided to hand over the business to one of their brilliant young blacksmiths: Giannelli Luigi. Luigi, who worked in the company in the 80s and 90s, thanks to his skills and those of his artisan collaborators, established himself strongly in the Tuscan territory with customers arriving from all over Italy.
The workshop that over the years developed into a solid reality passed from generation to generation until today, led by father and son Mario and Damiano Barbari, specialising in wrought iron work, whose craftsmanship tradition and manual workmanship is always at the basis of the reality it is today.
