This striking wool carpet has a cotton warp and was made completely by hand, from harvesting the wool, to carding it, spinning it, dying it, knotting it, shaving it, washing it, and then finishing. The expert artisans who worked on each of the 36 pieces of this limited series are in Nepal and use the traditional Tibetan knot. The wool is one of the finest in the world, because the animals graze at very high altitudes.
