Cochlea del Risveglio Vase

Part of a collection inspired by the life stages of snails (hence the name Cochleae, from the Latin), this vase is imbued with a strong architectural flair. The name refers to the first stage, in which the snail's body (represented by the curved glass tube) awakens, rising up from the embracing shell, symbolized by two semicircular elements made of calcarenite, a historic fossil-rich stone from Matera. Following the circular design approach, the components are not glued and can be taken apart and recycled to create new objects.
