Belonging to the Big Humans Collections, this majolica sculpture depicts a standing still deep-sea diver with a seagull perched on their head and another one peeking out from underneath the mask. The manual crafting process involves the molding and finishing steps, followed by a final hollowing out of the piece to prevent it from cracking during the two kiln firings. The satin-steel glaze is applied after the first firing and set in the final firing at 930°C. Customization are available upon request, please ask the Concierge.
