Braganti

Toscana, Italy | Silversmith

Editor's Picks

In a world that often forgets the timeless beauty of craftsmanship and tradition, Braganti continues to prove that the future still belongs to those who know how to create beauty

The history of the Braganti company, excellence in Florentine silver craftsmanship, began in the 1950s in a small basement in the centre of Florence. These were times in which there was great dynamism in the Italian market, so much so that Antonio Braganti, the founder and father of the current owner, went from being a simple silver salesman to owning a company that grew vertiginously in just a few years and came to work for the most important jewellers in the world.

Antonio Braganti, and later his son Stefano, despite the success and increase in production, do not betray the company's mission: that of being first and foremost a craft workshop, where quality is always put first. In fact, every Braganti product is born from the wisdom of the hands of the very few remaining artisans, from the use of ancient techniques such as chiselling, cleaning, gilding and setting, and from the original designs, kept in the historical archive.

What has allowed the Braganti company to stand out on the international scene is its ability to blend tradition and innovation: while the craftsmanship heritage remains firmly rooted, Braganti has opened up to the adoption of innovative design lines that allow them to create unique works of art.

And so it was that to complete the range of its offer, betting on change and taking a few risks, in 2010, Stefano Braganti acquired the Del Conte brand, a historic brand in the silver frame sector.

The history of the Braganti company is a hymn to perseverance, courage and passion for the handcrafted beauty of silver.
