Echo Rug

This hand-woven carpet is a kilim. Kilim is a Turkish word that defines a piece with designs made by interweaving the variously colored wefts and warps, thus creating what is known as a flat weave. In this case the traditional kilim is reinvented with a design by Allegra Hicks and hand-spun using wool with a color palette that uses white, pale blue, and blue to create a series of chevron patterns. The result is an elegant and exotic piece that will add color and dynamism to any floor.
