Iguana Box

This exquisite box with lid was entirely made by the hands of master artisans in Capodimonte porcelain, a precious material that gets its name from the hills by Naples where it was first used in the middle of the 18th century to create decorative objects. The simple body and lid, featuring the delicate shimmer that is characteristic of the Capodimonte production, are enhanced by the presence of a statuette depicting a magnificent iguana resting on the lid with its tail curled up.
