Il Percorso della Vita Lecce Stone Sculpture

A sinuous and harmonious silhouette seemingly paved with piano tiles marks this spectacular and naturally bright sculpture. Hand-carved from a solid block of Lecce stone, a distinctive limestone native to the Puglia region of Italy, it reveals intricate details as natural fossil and shell traces embedded within the stone come to light. Its twisted body stands for a person's life path, where the tiles one chooses to play day by day will eventually determine their own unique melody. Handcrafted and signed by artist Andrea Serra.
