Indigo Rug by Stefania Crippa

This striking rug designed by Stefania Crippa is inspired by the ancient Japanese Kasuri and the tribal geometries of African art. The old soul of this piece features natural colors that are soft and vibrant. The base was embroidered with experimental techniques in which ribbons of contrasting colors are sawn together to create a richer, deeper chromatic depth. The piece is handwoven using 70% wool, 20% linen, and 10% cotton and comes in 170 x 240 cm or 200 x 300 cm sizes, but customized measurements are also available.
