Mergellina Green Hand-Blown Crystal Vase

The only vase in the collection available with a craquel� cap. The Mergellina in green pairs a smooth crystal body with a cap finished in craquel�, a technique in which the hot glass is briefly plunged into cold water, creating a network of internal fracture lines that scatter light in a uniquely complex way. Remove the cap and it becomes an independent bud vase. The green body is part of the crystal material itself. Made in a Tuscan glasshouse active since 1945. Each piece is individually hand-finished, the small variations in form and surface are the direct result of mouth-blowing.
