Set against a lightly distressed Parma blue background, the panel depicts a Carnival-inspired figure in an elaborate historical costume - dynamic in posture, richly detailed in garments, with flowing ribbons, striped sleeves, and a feathered hat rendered in warm terracotta tones. Executed using traditional 17th-century Venetian painting techniques, the decoration is built through multiple layers of color, delicate shading, and a subtly antiqued finish that creates depth, movement, and a naturally aged appearance.
