Piccolo Contrappunto Black/Gold

A smaller version of the Grande Contrappunto Collection, this stunning panel by Amelia Corvino takes inspiration from the musical term indicating the merging of different melodies, known as the counterpoint ("contrappunto" in Italian). Fashioned of the most refined Venetian black damask, its classic Western fabric motif is contrasted with a gold geometric pattern typical of the Islamic tradition, thus representing the art of the East.
