Inspired by the texture of watermelons rind, Tsuchida Yasuhiko designed a limited series of vases recreating that unique pattern in vibrant unnatural colors, representing the four natural elements. This one-of-a-kind hand-blown masterpiece was made in Murano in 2001 and embodies the element of fire. The bright red-orange stripped surface has been polished to give it a mat finishing that is able to give glass an organic appearance. The cap is enriched by a translucent rough piece.
