Ripples Small Stool by Toyo Ito

Sophisticated and unique, this stool designed by Toyo Ito is the winner of the 2004 Golden Compass Award. The seat, entirely finished by hand, is made of plywood using five different types of wood (walnut, mahogany, cherry, oak, and ash), and boasts a soft texture with the different essences smoothly flowing into each other. The footrest is made of anodized aluminum, adding a functional and essential profile to the piece.
