Saturnino Amber Hand-Blown Crystal Sculptural Object

Two pieces held together only by weight. The Saturnino pairs a clear crystal ring with an amber craquel� sphere, the sphere resting in the ring, balanced by gravity alone, with no mechanical connection between them. The craquel� surface of the sphere scatters light into a web of shifting reflections. Remove the sphere and it becomes a small flower vase. A meditation on balance in hand-blown crystal, made by Florentine artisans whose workshop has been active since 1945.
