We give Word to the Marble

Budri Srl, founded in 1960 by Enzo Budri, is an Italian company specializing in bespoke processing of marbles, onyxes, and semi-precious stones. Located in Mirandola, in the province of Modena, the company epitomizes Italian craftsmanship excellence in the stone sector.

Budri's history is marked by continuous evolution and innovation. In the 1990s, under the leadership of Gianmarco Budri, the founder's son and current CEO, the company expanded its activities, embarking on artistic inlay work and participating in large-scale international projects. The connection with the Emilia region is profound, influencing the artisanal approach and attention to detail that distinguish Budri's creations. Despite challenges, such as the 2012 earthquake that struck Emilia, the company demonstrated resilience by rebuilding and inaugurating in 2014 an innovative 8,000 m² facility in Mirandola, comprising production area, offices, and showroom.

Budri is renowned for employing advanced processing techniques, combining traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technologies. This approach enables the company to execute bespoke turnkey projects worldwide, collaborating with internationally acclaimed designers and producing marble and natural stone furnishings.

Among its most significant innovations, in 2017 the company launched Budri Eyewear, a revolutionary line of marble eyewear, showcasing versatility and innovation in the use of stone materials.

Budri is also committed to environmental sustainability, recognizing the importance of preserving natural resources and adopting responsible production practices.

In 2019, the company inaugurated a showroom in Milan's historic center, strengthening its presence in the heart of Italian design. In 2022, Budri became part of the SOMEC group, further expanding its international reach with the opening of offices in Lugano and London.
