Part of a series of diptych oil paintings that belong to Federico Caruso's Anatomia dell'Evanescenza Collection (Anatomy of Evanescence), this oeuvre draws inspiration from the sequence of immediate moments of being of a volatile eternity. Made in 2018, it depicts two bodies free from rigid anatomical meaning, rendered with fluid and vivid brushstrokes. Please consult the Concierge for further details.

Federico Caruso
Toscana, Italy | Artist
A student of artist and professor Pier Giorgio Balocchi at the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara, Italy, Federico Caruso first trained as a set and costume designer for opera house and ballet, collaborating with Franco Zeffirelli in Tokyo and New York. At the same time, he developed a personal painting style, exploring the theme of “Anatomy of evanescence” marked by fluid and luminous brushstrokes made with oil painting, charcoal, and pastel colors.Discover more
