Thousand Shades of Blue Between Us #3 Photographic Print - Main view

A project that aims to describe the urban landscape and daily life that flows on either side of a long and deep strip of blue, the Chao Phraya River. It divides Bangkok into two halves and was considered a kind of narrative thread, a metaphor for life, which gives rise to endless social interactions while allowing the development of biodiversity. This fluid connects the people who live all around and populate the micro-world built on its banks. Please contact the concierge for more information.

All my work is built around a concept I hold dear: that of dialogue, of cross-cultural interaction.

AMELIA CORVINO

A work hung on the entrance wall welcomes and greets those who enter, just as two or more panels from the same series in the living room stimulate interest and curiosity, while in the sleeping area they lead the imagination to distant worlds. There are also smaller models, simply to be placed on a shelf to complete a bookshelf or an equipped wall. The domestic world is certainly not the only environment suitable for Amelia's works, which are capable of making public places, such as restaurants and luxury venues, and private ones, such as fashion showrooms or meeting rooms of important offices, unique.

Amelia's passion for textiles is not recent but rather germinated during her years of study in Venice, where, at the Academy of Fine Arts, she trained as a Scenographer. Here the discovery and the flash of inspiration for the textile world. Here she began to touch and learn about various textiles, but above all, she began to cultivate within herself the idea of being able to use them, sooner or later, to express her own artistic vision.
