Trabocco Zoomorphic Purple Pitcher

The traditional pitcher belonging to the Sicilian "bummulo malandrino" tradition is here offered in a playful fish-shaped body finished in an elegant tone of matte purple. Handcrafted of ceramic, it features an original filling system: the pitcher must be filled from the base by turning it upside-down and then, once filled, simply re-positioning upright to normally pour the liquid from the spout. More than a pitcher, it is a sculptural piece celebrating the sea and Sicilian culture.
