Curated by Valentino Catricalà, each stage features a work by one of 25 international artists, paired with a selection of literary texts from different eras and cultures, creating a dialogue between image and word. The volume also includes the original project by the Squary Eyes collective: the Red Theatre, a series of 25 paper theatres inspired by the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, bringing the book to life through a surreal, pop-inflected paper world.
