Part of the "Visione Di Città Future" Collection of one-of-a-kind pieces handcrafted by textile artist Marta Pederzoli, this tapestry depicting futurist, dystopian scenarios, Weft from fibers of recycled PET bottles, it features stylized, gray and black skyscrapers arranged on a stepped foreground rendered in vibrant pink. The electric blue sky is marked by a gray sun, unnaturally suspended on a horizontal thread in the same hue. The desolate landscape is void of human life.

Ennio Nonni
Emilia-Romagna, Italy | Artist
Urban planner, architect, and designer Ennio Nonni was born in Faenza in 1954 where he directed urban design projects for over 30 years. Nonni cultivated his passion for design through his minimal and colorful vases and sculptures characterized by the "faience", glazed ceramic earthenware, combined with themes of futuristic cities, enigmatic but not unlikely architectural fantasies. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Nonni directed two museums (MAP Institute and MUS.T) and introduced incentives for green construction, “biourbanism”, and contemporary art projects in 2019.Discover more
