A spectacular example of masterful craftsmanship, this unique framed mirror is made in antique wood that was hand carved in a series of sinuous decorative patters. The gild is 22k pure gold and was prepared using traditional methods dated back to the 14th century, involving exclusively natural materials (such as isinglass and glue derived from rabbit leather). The finishing bronzing step was executed using agate stone, followed by an aging patina.
