What does “Made in Italy” mean to you?
“Made in Italy” exemplifies a commitment to quality. It gives the assurance that the piece behind the label was made by the skilled hands of an expert craftsperson; who sourced and chose the finest materials available specifically for the job at hand; based on years of tradition. It gives me confidence that I am getting the best.
Who/what has inspired the most your work and style?
I’ve been inspired mostly by my former employers Wayne Nathan and Robert Stilin. Both taught me to look with a different set of eyes; one from an artistic viewpoint and the other from a business viewpoint. I owe much to both.
Describe your design approach and philosophy.
Listen to the client- always. They always know what they want- even when they say they don’t.
What is the one design/décor you cannot imaging your clients (or yourself) living without?
A comfortable chair.
What is your idea of the “ultimate luxury”?
Nothing is more luxurious than a bed made with freshly ironed sheets.
